Tanna and Brylee come to visit...

Tanna and her baby, Brylee came to visit this past weekend from Texas. Brylee is now 2 1/2 months old, and I haven't seen her since she was just a few days old. We had such a great time, like always, and Brylee was good the entire visit. We went to Affair of the Heart which is a big craft show (well not like country stuff like you're probably thinking) and spent way too much money. But they have the cutest stuff so it's worth it :) It comes twice a year so we have to make time for that. Brylee slept the whole time we were at affair of the heart, so that gave Tanna and me about 5 hours to shop.

Here we are at Chili's...

Most of the people in this picture at friends of Tanna's that she used to teach with when she lived here. Alan and I have gotten to know them through Tanna and have become good friends with them. From left to right: Wes, Lyndye, Tallery, Brylee, Tanna, Ben, Me, Alan, and Vic. Tallery used to teach at Santa Fe South with the rest of them, but now she lives in Tulsa and teaches there and is expecting a baby boy in May (yay for Dagan :) !!) After Tanna and Brylee left to go back home, Tallery and I went to Affair of the Heart together...and of course I found more stuff! That place is awesome. All of these people are teachers except for me and well, Brylee.
So at Affair of the Heart they have these babies and I swear there are about 50 women, not just kids, but women around this booth going crazy about these babies! They are rediculously expensive...but Brylee had to have one! They look and feel like real babies. We found one that looks like Brylee when she smiles. You can't really tell in the pic but she has bright blue eyes and has her mouth wide open smiling...just like Brylee. Brylee just stares at her, but they told us she'll bond with it and be attached to it kind of like some kids do with blankets and taggies. So Tanna thinks it worth it. It took us forever to pick out the perfec one but we did. And we named her Emma. We also got Brylee her first purse at Affair. They have the best baby and kid stuff there.
She's ready for more shopping...
Here's Alan and Brylee right before bedtime. Alan played with her and held her way more than I thought he would. He did really good with her.

I can't wait till our next visit. We always have the best time together.
